OPINION The five-step plan for Manchester United to become a force again
After failing to sign another great coach, United appears to be adrift. Antonio Conte is a proven winner who would have quickly earned respect and had control over underperforming players. Tottenham's gain is already United's loss, as they are now leading the Premier League table.
Conte had some disadvantages, such as a limited shelf life, a pragmatic style, and a confrontational personality, but the advantages outweighed the disadvantages, and United were in no position to be picky. They're led by a coach who has supervised 81 games in the ten years prior to his appointment.
After rejecting Conte, United are left with with a few plausible possibilities. Mauricio Pochettino wanted to leave Tottenham in the middle of the season, but the club refused.
They will regret what they did.How can you for go Conte who has alot of experience as far as premier league is concerned and you bring a coach who has not proven himself in other leagues rather than Germany
