According to rumors, Chelsea may miss out on acquiring Sevilla defender Jules Kounde next season if Antonio Rudiger signs a contract extension with the club. As things stand, the latter will be a free agent at the conclusion of the season, with Real Madrid reportedly interested in bringing him to the Bernabeu in the summer. Since taking over from Frank Lampard in January, Thomas Tuchel has managed to get the best out of Rudiger, who has established himself as a staple for Chelsea.
