Sule, who joined Bayern from Hoffenheim in 2017, has made 25 appearances for the club this season, missing only four games due to Covid and back difficulties.

The centre-back has four Bundesliga titles to his name and has represented Germany on 37 occasions.

Sule, whose contract expires in five months, is now free to sign a pre-contract deal with any team in Europe.

Bayern Munich has joined the likes of Barcelona, Borussia Dortmund, and Atletico Madrid in expressing interest in Danish international Christensen as a replacement for Sule, who is expected to leave.
