Victor Lindelof aims to be 'back with the guys soon' as Man United defender offers health update
Victor Lindelof, a Manchester United centre-back, has given an update on his health and stated that he wants to be 'back with the guys' soon.
The Swedish international hasn't played for United since a 1-0 victory against Norwich on December 11, when he was forced to be replaced in the second half owing to breathing problems.
Following a Covid-19 outbreak at Old Trafford, United were forced to take a 16-day hiatus before returning to Premier League action on Monday with a 1-1 draw at Newcastle, but Lindelof was not in the squad.
Despite being self-isolated at his house, interim manager Ralf Rangnick announced the defender had tested positive for coronavirus.
'Hi everyone, I just wanted to check in real fast and first and foremost say thank you for all your support,' Lindelof wrote in his Instagram story on Wednesday.
