Ralf Rangnick: Man Utd more more than just Cristiano Ronaldo-Bruno Fernandes partnership
Ralf Rangnick has downplayed Cristiano Ronaldo's friendship with Bruno Fernandes, believing Manchester United must "develop as a full group."
Despite their different skills, there have been doubts regarding Ronaldo and Fernandes' ability to play together effectively at both Portugal and United.
On Monday Night Football, Gary Neville called the pair "whingebags" after United's poor 1-1 draw away at Newcastle United, criticizing the body language of two of Rangnick's senior players.
Fernandes has five goals and six assists in the Premier League, which is much less than he had at the same point last season, while Ronaldo scored his 14th goal of the season against Burnley on Thursday.
Rangnick says that his top aim is to improve the chemistry.
